I want to sincerely thank Mellisa Johnson of InspireMeMom & T.Shaw  for nominating me for the Liebster Award! This is my first blog award and I am super honored that two people nominated me for this award on the same day within 5 minutes of eachother. I felt blessed and blown away by your support. You each have inspired me with your raw honesty and voice in the blogging community.

In this Award post, I was given 10 questions from Mellisa Johnson and another 11 questions from T.Shaw to answer. Here are my answers:

To Messlisa Johnson –

1. What inspired your blog name/title?
   1. I invited my best friend to church and she told me she couldn’t step foot through the doors because the anxiety of being judged was too overwhelming. I have also dealt with depression and I wanted to break off that judgmental mindset that most people have over those who struggle with depression.
2. How long have you been writing?
   1. I just recently started my blog in October
3. What is the reason you write or blog?
   1. Same answer as question 1
4. Where is your hometown and what is special about it?
   1. Mesa, AZ I love Arizona, it is open and vast and warmer than most places.
5. Does real life experience inspire your writing or do you use imagination/fiction?
   1. Always real life, it’s my day to day thoughts that inspire me to share my heart with others through this blog.
6. What is your favorite type of music?
   1. Old School hymns, I love music off all kinds as well especially bluegrass country etc.
7. Do you like any other creative hobbies like art, music or sports?
   1. Music is my life, I also enjoy anime, manga, shooting, and building things.
8. If you are blogging for business or trying to grow an audience what has been the best and the worst advice?
   1. The best advice I got was to be involved. Read others blogs, comment, like, etc. The worst advice is the applications that you purchase for fake traffic. I want my blog to grow organically.
9. Do you contribute writing on other sites/platforms or only focus on your blog?
   1. Currently I mainly focus on my blog, I have incorporated twitter into that and soon plan to launch a youtube channel. 
10. What is the ultimate goal of your writing or blog? Is it just a hobby or are you working towards making a niche in the blogging community?
    1. My ultimate goal is to create a change in peoples mindsets especially those in the church who have a misunderstanding of what it means to struggle with depression. I want to bring awareness and help those in need Mentally and Financially.

To T.Shaw –

• What inspired you to start blogging?

• What is your blog’s purpose?
  • The purpose of this blog is to create a change in peoples mindsets especially those in the church who have a misunderstanding of what it means to struggle with depression. I want to bring awareness and help those in need Mentally and Financially.
• What are your goals for 2018?
  • My goal for 2018 is to grow as a person and increase the sphere of influence this blog and other media outlets can create to bring about a new revelation of how to live through depression.
• What was the most memorable moment/event that happened this year in 2017?
  • Many good and bad things have happened this year, the most memorable being this blog. I started it thinking no one would really care about what I have to say and was blown away by the support and encouragement I have gotten in these short three months. I am continuously thinking of what to add next.
• What is your favorite comfort food?
  • Sushi
• Which actor/actress would play you if your life was a movie? And why?
  • I have no clue, I am horrible with names
• Do you have a Christmas wish? If so, what?
  • That my family would reconcile with each other, a lot of division has happened this month and it breaks my heart. Some financial blessings would be great for them too.

• What is your favorite season?
  • Fall, I love the cooler weather, the smell of the pine trees, and the color of the leaves.
• What are you passionate about?
  • People – Just as I desire for community with others, I want to see people come together and enjoy their lives to the fullest.
• What is something new you’d like to learn?
  • I would love to learn Korean
